Hi,
I recently saw a inverter set up owner installed system that added another trace SWCB to the AC end that allowed the AC side lots more room for wiring the system and Generator it looked a little goofy but it worked maybe the Trace AC SWCB is the quick and easy answer to this issue.
Lynn,

The SWCB can be used on either end. Same SWCB.

Well What we saw was something that looked like a SWCB but the green painted line matched up so I could not have been a SWCB exactly.  but we saw it in use. Owner said it was a special request and trace sent it.

Hi Lynn,

I only have a DRCB in stock to confirm this point:

The end panel on the DRCB (and I assume, the SWCB) can be installed on either end of the conduit box. It has redundant knockouts on the top, bottom, and side which permit this flexibility. Therefore the green line will line up.
