Gary, To start with I don't care for diesel because of the messy mess that
comes with diesel engines. Another reason is the hauling and storage of fuel.
I like the propane models that Kohler puts out. If you already have propane
for cooking, water heating etc. you have a good supply of fuel for genset.
(no mess either!). Kohler puts out good 10K and up, and they work well with
SW auto start.
