Speaking of apprentices desiring training/wanting to work, I've recently been in conversation with a green builder/architect in the Bay area that is wanting to get his feet wet in solar, with the eventual plan to open a PV biz in West Texas.  Although I can't prepare him for the culture shock, I told him I might know some people who could be able to help with the training.
How about it, folk?  Any installers in the Bay area that need a part-time, possibly weekend, underpaid but smart apprentice?
