Subject: Re: [RE-wrenches] Stacking SW Series

I never liked the original SW5548. It had different firmware and actually can't surge as much as an SW4048. The 5548 does have a very heavy transformer, so they would be good for a heavy continuous load that didn't surge much on startup. They're hard to put up on a wall.

I don't know anything about the SW+, I had switched to Outback back then. Did you read in the SW+ manual that it could be stacked with the SW? Unless they designed that into it, I'm guessing they wouldn't stack.

Has anyone tried to stack an SWPlus 5548 with an SW5548?

I’m trying to make sure, before I try harder to sell the SWplus

Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to stack an SW Series Inverter with an SW Plus Series for 120-240V?

What’s Required, if So.
