[RE-wrenches] Admin Post: Having to change list hosts

Hello Wrenches. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me off list.

We received notice that our Wrench List host (DreamHost) is pulling the rug out from under all of their clients' discussion lists by ending listserver availability.

Pretty big bummer, as it is no simple task to switch hosts. But I am thankful for the host we had been using for decades, and at no cost. I am researching which of the list hosting possibilities are best for us.

At some point, the list will likely be down for 1-3 days to make the switch-over. I'm not exactly sure when that will happen, but I will let you all know in advance. We will be staying with the same list software (Mailman), though we may upgrade to the most recent version which was not available at the old host.

In the meantime, keep on using the Wrench List as needed.
