[RE-wrenches] EG4 Monitoring

Hi all,

The new EG4 Connect app, which was released recently, is a big dud in my
opinion. Users are clamoring for a better interface, better data, and more
useful notifications. And I bet installers might enjoy a better interface
as well. EG4 fell short on this app redesign.

I am launching a third-party monitoring app called FourScoped that draws on
the same EG4 data, but presents it in a much better way. It has pre-launch
pricing right now, but for Wrenches on this list, if you sign up and then
reach out to me by email, I'll set you up with a free six-month Pro
subscription.

Let me know what you think: https://fourscoped.com/

P.S. You might already know this, but I discovered through this process
that the old EG4 app's Power chart didn't actually average power over the
10-minute spans it displays. That data comes from Power snapshots every 4
minutes rather than taking energy over that period and doing the math for
average power. That resulted in jagged power charts and unexplained dips in
production that were not real. Using power measurements taken at 4-minute
increments with variable clouds is not going to provide very useful chart
data. The new EG4 Connect app shows a real energy chart for daily data, but
only has one-hour granularity. I think my approach in FourScoped is better,
but I'm always looking for feedback!
