It is a battery ignition unit. The batteries are new.
Thanks for the link. It has a lot of good information. I couldn't find
information on the location of sparker, however. I think I will follow
Todd's advice and trace the conductors.
This unit has given us a lot of trouble. Is the Peerless still the only
game in town if we want to avoid circuit boards and phantom loads, and
run on propane? I love the simplicity of the range, but it is cheaply
made. Higher end Peerless ranges are pretty pricey.
