[RE-wrenches] Xantrex XW4548 lifespan

We have many of the XW+ series inverter chargers in the field and they have been bullet proof. I am not sure what the longest running system install date is but I believe it has been in service for at least 20 years. Sadly I cannot say the same for the XW pro series of products.

Hi there Wrenches far and wide,

I’m wondering what sort of lifespans you’ve been seeing or expecting from the XW4548 Hybrid Inverter/Charger line.
I’m swapping out the batteries on one that was manufactured jun19/2008.

I don’t have much insight on the system overall other than the batteries are 5yrs old and have been charging hotter than usual and the owner accepts a bit of maintenance neglect.
