This unit was over-hyped and under performing when it was current, so is it worth while to repair?

We still have a demo skystream sitting around somewhere if you need parts. Blades, nacelle but no guts alternator or electronics.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] Skystream Wind Generator

Hi all,
I have a new customer with an old Skystream 3.7 wind turbine. The turbine is on a pallet to be sent off for some maintenane, but the former homeowner never got to it. The tower looks good and was probably a legit tower sold with the turbine, though I'm not positive.

Just wondering what the current thought is about Skystream and if folks think it's worth this guy trying to have the turbine fixed and reinstalled? I looked at some old posts from 2012 but hope to get some more current advice.

Laura
