Is this the UL1741 PCS CRD (usually cross listed with UL3141 listing) or is
this a different listing that they are looking for. I was pretty sure that
the SolArk's all have the UL1741PCS CRD/UL3141, and of course the MID is
built into the inverter already. But maybe it's a different one.
For California, they have an interesting issue for the open loop response
time for the PCS CRD listing -- you only need less than 10 second response
time for net billing systems, but less than 2 second response time for zero
export systems, which has been a harder target for a number of inverters to
hit (many are coming in at 3 to 4 seconds for one of the step tests).
Ironically one of the main reasons to do a zero export system is because
there is already a grandfathered net metered system on site which can
export, but they want the new system to have a very fast response time to
never export... I calculated that the inadvertent export could maybe cost
them a dollar or two a year worse case)

As of July, New York State requires CRD Multimode compliance documentation
for any MID devices.
Sol-Ark does not yet have their paperwork.
Does anyone have a recommendation for an ATS that I can install upstream of
the Sol-Ark Inverters to satisfy this requirement?
It feels like all I "need" is a simple contactor that will open when the
grid goes down, but I don't know who makes a simple device like that which
is also UL Listed.
