Dana,
Interesting. The procedure as I recall to input the installer menu code is
in the last quick start guide they published, along with the generic
password itself. it's needed to turn on AC coupling, maybe also for your
upgrade.
And I was told 3 years ago by OB that you can't just add a 4kw inverter
module to ramp up a 4k to an 8k. As a result I upgraded my customer from a
4048 to an 8048. I still have the 4048 you can pull the module out of. I'll
sell the whole inverter cheap.
