[RE-wrenches] Lead Calcium Batteries - Firmware Update?

Folks,

I just did an equalization charge on my five year old Surret lead-calcium batteries in my stand-by system.

I haven't had to add any water yet.

I am wondering if I need to update the firmware or something,
