The Little Rosie has a nice breaker box with plenty of room and options. But, the sheet metal is running behind from the US based manufacturer.

Great, thank you Kent. I didn't realize the AC and DC terminals needed to be on top, I should have read the manual before asking. I can now see how the access door would be blocked if there were also a charge controller mounted on the door. I thought the Plus models were wider than the Lite but it appears my assumption was wrong. Seems it could still work if the controller were mounted off on the side of the chassis but for now I'll try to come up with a better plan. Lots of mice around here so I can see how your point of dropping "things" into the top ventilation slots could really be an issue.

Assuming your generator is large enough are you finding that the 60 amp DC charger is working on a similar ratio as the VFX's 45 amp charger?

E-panel lite and decided against it. Just not enough room to get the
battery cables connected. I ended up with the Little Rosie mounted
vertically beside an E-panel lite. To tell you the truth I wasn't happy
with the vertical installation of the little Rosie. Per the installation
manual you are only allowed to mount it vertically in one orientation
and that leaves the top of the Little Rosie at risk of dropping things
into it through the ventilation slots.
