[RE-wrenches] My AHJ insisting on "Flammable Vapor Ignition Resistant" 18-inch requirement

Same answer from me... Do what they want and fix it later. Wire the 
extra length for a floor mount and get the inspection.
I can see his point a bit with BMS electronics in there. Good Luck!
