I also use Eguage, But for the reasons you mentioned ($$$), I also fully
recommend Emporia If not needing DC. It is really inexpensive and Just
works, has 1 second sample rate. But, it looks like they no longer offer
just the standalone MAINS logger without all the branch circuit CT's.
