[RE-wrenches] Adding battery to grid tie

When I do this I tend to use an A or B switch for high voltage solar and
then use a battery based with high voltage mppt or more commonly now on
DIY, Costco, and Signature, an all in one battery/inverter/HV mppt. My
clients mostly are technical and can comprehend. I am lucky to have
them!

The panel wiring to automate can be expensive to do. Go manual! How many
times and how long is it out??? And so if the client is up for it
technically and wants to keep cash in pocket, the Florida hurricane tap
is great. You can't do any of this with big systems and non technical
people. However, if it was a long outage you are set and Offgrid and
still have cash in your pocket.

Big systems always seem to have big issues to me.

Good Luck Man!

Is there a consensus as to what equipment to use for adding battery
backup to normal GT inverter?

I've had a few people ask and I actually haven't done it.

Thx
