Jay,
If they want to keep their SI's, a couple of years ago I
successfully replaced an iron Edison battery with 3 Fortress evault
batteries closed loop. Had to update SI firmware and get all evault
batteries to same firmware but it was pretty straight forward. Ran it open
loop for a month or two until I got all the firmware updated. It's off grid
with SB11k for AC coupling. Can share the programming with you if
interested.
