[RE-wrenches] Induction Cooktops Off-Grid

Does anyone have any experience with how high frequency inverters handle
induction cooktop loads? I'm not really asking about off-grid, because most
off-grid clients use gas for cooking, but for grid-tied battery backup, we
are starting to see a lot of homes with induction cooktops where the
homeowner wants it on the backup loads panel.
I know it's not really a reactive power issue like a motor load, but it
would be a large, nearly instantaneous resistive load essentially. I'm
wondering if this might lead to nuisance overloads or lights flickering.
