Hi Steve,
In the Midnite App, I can set the generator stop state of charge at 100%.
What do you mean by saying that it stops automatically at 80%?
Also, charging to only 80% IS a problem with some LFP batteries. If they
don't get to 100% routinely, the SOC can drift badly. And I have had issues
with balancing cells on HomeGrid batteries that don't reach 100%. I was
told that this can cause severe cell imbalances, and I have experienced a
few battery module faults due to this issue (at least that is what
HomGrid is blaming it on). I don't think charging LFP to 80% should be an
issue, but in reality, it can be. I thought the BMSs were supposed to
handle these issues well, but maybe they just aren't there yet..
