Not to further hijack the thread, but I have had numerous diode failures in
Mission Solar 410W panels. They took a bunch back from my inventory and
replaced them, but I had a couple more failures. Since these are almost all
on Enphase, I could easily spot the issues where one panel would produce
1/3 less than others. The issue typically manifests itself within about a
week of installation.
That said, overall I am happy with Mission Solar as well. Their warranty
communication is terrible, but that is the case with REC and Silfab as
well, so it may just be pervasive in the industry. The panels themselves
perform. I have 26 Mission 425s on my roof at home.
