[RE-wrenches] Backup Mode Indicator for Whole Home Battery?

Don't modern grid backup systems have meters to give customers battery state of charge information?

My home's legacy system uses a cruising equipment company e-meter.

I have it configured so the display is dark when there's no significant charging or discharging happening and of course when the grid is down there's a significant discharge level so the meter lights up letting me know the grid is down.

Another clue is that our internet comes through the cable system and when the grid goes down their line amps stop working so the internet also stops working.

Also, I don't have large loads like our electric oven backed up and when the grid is down the clock on that goes dark and when the grid comes up again the oven makes a "beep" when the clock becomes illuminated again.

There is already a single LED in most utility meters that tells you the grid is on. I have marked it with a sharpie for a client.

I suppose you want something for clipping on to the Grid input that can give an alarm in the house.
Amazon had something that I used once. Will try and look it up.
