[RE-wrenches] LI Battery For Stand Alone?

Folks,

I have spec'd the Morningstar Genstar for my stand alone power supply.

The application is in harsh desert environments so low and high temperatures.

I need very high reliability.

I am currently spec'ing 250 AH of AGM at 48V, with 80% allowed DOD.

Before I pull the trigger on this, I am wondering if LiPo has come far enough in terms of simplicity and reliability.

Are folks now using LiPo successfully in this type of application?

If so,  which products?
