[RE-wrenches] Generator overvoltage troubleshoot

Hi Jim,

I think the voltage regulator on the generator is the issue, but you may be
able to fix it by trying a different AC input mode. What is the AC input
mode are you using on the Radians? Are the modes the same on each Radian?
Since you have a range of input that you can get it to hiccup, I'd try
playing with the AC input modes through the problematic range. I tend to
use support mode with the least trouble.

What are the downstream loads?

I could see perhaps how a downstream load that is large and inductive and
shuts down rapidly could cause a voltage spike, but really the voltage
regulator is in charge of that.

ANother thing to check is torque/corrosion on your connections. I like to
use an IR camera to speed up looking for connection issues.

Let us know what you find out.
