We have installed a few systems on facilities with the type of roofing you are describing. These roofs have to be treated carefully, my advice is to consult with the roofing manufacturer and use a manufacturer approved system. Additionally these type of roofs can be very slippery so be sure to use every safety precaution.

Hello,

I am installing an array on a roof which has, I believe, pvc shingles formed to look like fake slate. I did a test pilot drill, and it definitely works like pvc.

I think using standard L-foot flashing should be fine to tuck under them, and lag into the rafters as usual, unless there is something I'm missing.

Any experience or comments shared would be appreciated. Thanks.
