I’ve installed dozens of wells and dozens of hydros at high pressure using these.
Multiple clamps per connector and I’ve had no leaks.
Also while it doesn’t seem right, using teflon tape on the barbs actually helps to reduce leaks.
Install the clamps at 120 or 180 degrees from each other is important.
If you want to do it correctly then use a HDPE butt welding machine. I just never could afford one.
