[RE-wrenches] Tree lights

Is this lighting the tree itself as a landscaping highlight, or stringing
Xmas lights in it?
For the latter, all I've seen is cheap Costco stuff.
For the former, I'd go with a central PV/battery location and run
low-voltage lines to each tree, with a commercial-grade LED light. The
placement of individual PV for each tree would be problematic and likely
more intrusive visually than a nicely-sited PV/battery box, and all the
individual tree systems I've seen were low quality.
And your client could still tell everyone that his accent landscape lights
are solar...
