AS a matter of course we always replace leads in our meters once a year and send them in for calibration ~ every 3-4 years. Fluke is VERY good at there service and I would suggest that perhaps the cost is 1/2 as much as a new one. We will send the old ones in and replace it w/ a new one. Sometimes we need more then 1 clamp on.
Check the DC amp rating on your exisiting meter & the new one, seems like some of them are only rated for 400A.
