[RE-wrenches] !000 volt wire for trench-buried extended runs - what type?

You will probably use PVwire.  As far as I am aware it will be your least
expensive option.  Get it in aluminum, direct-burial rated if you want. 
Or pre-sleeved in PVC conduit.
