[RE-wrenches] Old Net Metering

She already got a regular meter installed, she's just wanting to get the 
Net meter now.  That's sounding like bad news if it isn't grand fathered 
in.  My thinking is that it would be just like for an old house: it 
would need to be safe but only be required to meet the requirements of 
the code of the original construction.
This is a really good case for NOT going completely off grid if you 
already have grid power.
