Will,

Whole house surge protector? Please provide info on that: Make, model, how many watts is it rated for, efficiency of unit and approximate price range?

I had a problem with one of the control boards on my front load dryer on my off grid Outback system. Seems that some type of surge fried the board. It was replaced and I added a whole house AC surge protector. I don’t know if the surge protector worked but I haven’t had any problems since.
