Marco,

The main difference between Rated and Range is that to achieve maximum efficiency claimed (97.5% CEC on a 12kW unit), you would want to design your array voltages to fit in the rated window (300-800Vdc).

The MPPT will operate throughout the entire voltage window of the inverter, this is the Range.

Re: the SMA TPs...can you please explain what the difference is between the "rated MPPT voltage range" versus the "MPPT operating voltage range"?

As far as performance, how important is it that the array voltage be 300V as opposed to as low as 150V?
