I'd be interested in seeing that homemade design....or a link to the home
power article. We used a conventional lift for a while...it was pretty
noisy, smelly, heavy and loud....but I suppose it was safer than most other
ways of getting panels to the roof...

It still has life left in it but I want to make a couple modifications.
It has worked great for the past several years. As simple and cheap as it
