[RE-wrenches] Sunnyboy TL with Batteries

Hi All;

It just occurred to me that the new secure power supply model Sunny Boy
TL inverters might be able to charge a battery based inverter through
its regular AC input, and avoid some of the control issues inherent to
regular AC coupled systems. This would allow the secure power output to
be wired to the regular AC input of the battery inverter, and then gain
the advantages of full battery charge control. This would require using
a battery based inverter with 2 AC inputs, with regular grid to the grid
input, and the secure power supply output from the Sunnyboy wired to the
generator (or 2nd) AC input. (or some relay arrangement for single AC
in inverters)

Anyone try this, or have good reasons this is a bad idea? I'm literally
thinking out loud, so don't hold it against me if this actually is dumb.

Thanks,
