Might it be easier to change the motor or is it just too large?

Might try a green house supply, or grangers catalog.

 

Just some quick thoughts.

Hey Folks....we have a customer with a 24VDC fan for venting a green house and we would like to be able to control speed on it instead of just on/off...The fan draws 22 Amps at 24VDC....Any suggestions on how to regulate speed? The idea is to have the fan pull less than the 22 amps............

rheostat? potentiometer....

I think essentially what i am looking for is a dimmer switch for a 24VDC motor.....
