Hey Mac,

Having worked at both... No they are exactly opposite from each other.

If I remember correctly if you plug the Xantrex BTS into the Outback it will appear to the inverter that the battery is VERY hot.

Hello wrenches,

Does anyone know if the older xantrex bts/15 temp sensor is the interchangeable with the Outback RTS temp sensor.  The pins look the same.  A quick internet search was not conclusive.  I just found an old box jammed in a closet of the bts/15 and want to put them to use.
