You want to be careful when paralleling a Charge Controller and a Pump 
on a PV array. The Charge controller and pump can do interesting things 
to each other. I would suggest if doing this you either use blocking 
diodes on the pump and Charge Controller or you use a NO / NC relay and 
let the pump or Charge controller pick the appropriate position for he 
relay.
