[RE-wrenches] Enphase box bracket?

Jesse:

The box bracket is a very useful
item. See:
http://millersolar.com/MillerSolar/practices/Technical_Procedures/micro-inverter_wiring/_micro-inverter-wiring.html

We were told the brackets were discontinued but we seem to be able to keep
buying them.

The bracket is not specific to any rail system that I can tell. It works
with all DPW and Unirac rail products that we have used.

The bracket has small slotted holes (see web page) that mate perfectly with
a standard one or two gang bell box. We buy a specific size and length of
SS machine screw (10-32 X 3/8??) and a blind tap. We chuck the tap loosely
in a drill (or set the torque for low) and tap a bunch of boxes in a
hurry. The boxes attach to the bracket easily and quickly.

Note you can mount them centered or offset. When mounted offset you have
access to the back hole. When you mount them centered, the large hole
allows an end clip to mount over the bracket. This is handy if your rail
is just long enough.

We have made our own brackets from 2"X2"X1/8" aluminum angle, but this
takes time and they are not as good.

I am glad you are using them. More demand means they might stay in production.

William
