We pay $85 each on a 1x purchase, thru the local Fergusson
plumbing supply. Totally worth it.

RWC carries refractometer type hydrometers that are much
more accurate and easy to read. SG reads 1 .100 to 1.400 in
0.01 increments, temp compensation is automatic, F or C
scale. Doesn't need to be flushed out after each use to
remain accurate and best of all, it's not made of glass.
Cheap? No but neither are good batteries.
