Hey Benn

Although we often hear the term module or panel used interchangeably, NEC
defines it in 690.2 as you wrote.  A module is the individual unit, a panel
is a "collection of modules mechanically fastened together, wired, and
designed to provide a field-installable unit." The array is the whole
enchilada.  Good pic 690.1a
