[RE-wrenches] Pump

The first question that ought to be asked here is the state of the well. Is 300 feet the static water level or is it the pump level? Standard pump installations automatically put pumps at or near the bottom of the well to use the static water as a buffer if the pump puts out more than or near the recharge rate of the well. But if you’re pumping at less than the recharge rate you don’t need to be too deep and depending on the static water level you may not even need to use 230VAC.

I just worked on an off-grid system that used this pump:

Does any one know of a source for a reliable 230 vac submersible water pump that will pump a gallon per minute at 300 feet ? Thanks.
