Jay,
In the old days it could cause a failure with the MX-60's. Now it just
throws the MPPT on the second controller way off, it can be done but you
aren't going to see much gain from the second controller. I would
suggest not to do it.
The Diode's isn't going to solve the MPPT problem.

Say anyone ever paralleled mx/fm-60's?
I have a unique situation that would be very expensive to pull
additional wire however the existing wire is large enough to need 2
fm-60s'
If I put a diode between them so they don't feed each other any problems
that anyone knows of?
