How high have the temp counts on your transformer gotten?

My home system's GVFX3648 maxes out at around 2.8 to 2.9 kW @ 80 degrees F. If I push it harder, it overheats. While they are rated at "3600 watts", they cannot do this continuously with ambient temps above ~40 F.
