Hi William,
I don't believe anyone would take exception to the philosophy expressed in avoiding unnecessary connections. What would be two practical examples of it with regard to avoiding additional Tyco connectors?

My recommendation is to learn how to install without using one. It can be done. Splices add additional potential for failure.
