William,
I think that outdoor flex rated 60 degrees C is acceptable. So do thousands of contractors who install air conditioners on roofs. A few years ago there was discussion about requiring 90 degrees C flex on roofs.

I have looked on the Carlon web site and the only temperature rating listed is for minimum temperatures.
Others had expressed this concern in that past. The question arises as to how hot is it under a PV array and at what rate does the temperature reduce as one moves away from the back of the modules? Our installations run NMLT along rack members but not against the backs of the modules.
If NMLT is not suitable as protection under a PV array, what do you suggest we use?
