[RE-wrenches] Evergreen - now what?

With the exception of Evergreen, I don't think any panels are made in the USA, though some are partially made here (ie., assembled), usually from foreign made cells.

With Evergreen moving most production to China, they will be in the same status as several other manufacturers. But honestly, some of the "Made in USA" labeling should be taken with some skepticism, as I think even a lot of the SolarWorld ingots are made in Europe, and at least part of the silicon for Evergreen also was manufactured overseas.

We are currently waiting on a stack of Evergreen modules (which are now very late to ship!) and we were getting ready to order another batch, so does this mean we should be looking into another supplier?

We try very hard to buy USA products, but that is getting harder and harder to do. It looks like its now just SolarWorld in California. What other module manufacturers are still actually making their modules in US and not importing from China.
