The pull-out strength depends primarily on the gauge of the purlin. A #14,
which I believe equals ¼”, ranges from 141 lbs (26 ga) to 4,550 lbs (3/16”
plate), according to Dynamic Fastener’s catalog, page 67..

One must wonder if the pull-out resistance of the 1/4" Tek screw is adequate
for the wind-loading etc. There's some math to be done which may point to
the need for bigger diameter screws anyway.
