I also use the Fluke 337 clamp meter. I started buying Fluke in the
early '80's because I was at a trade show and saw a Fluke DVM thrown
in the air and land on a concrete floor as a demo of ruggedness. It
was the fact that he had done this hundreds of times since the show
started that sold me! All my important test instruments are Flukes
(when possible), scopemeter, DVM, temperature, amp clamp meters, etc,
but I also own some of the cheap import test gear for use by the
installers when I'm not around.
