[RE-wrenches] Roof Loading request for help

In Minnesota the State building code will allow a general contractor to satisfy the structural engineering requirement on residential structures.  The commercial structures require a PE,  This seems to be the same for Keith's situation.

Btw some installers seem to want a PE on there roofs.  But from my experience in one case the PE specified over $100,000 worth of work, and another said no work was required.  I find the variability of recommendations from PE to be widely varying.
