[RE-wrenches] pay for sales leads

Has anyone ever gotten a sale from the Verde folks? We initially received
perhaps fifty so-called 'pre-qualified leads' -- and had to sign a contract
saying we'd pay 2% of the sales profit if we got a sale. Everyone was
more-or-less just a tire kicker, 'just wanted to get a quote', or 'waiting
til the price comes down', that sort of thing. Literally none have panned
out, and we just stopped getting 'leads' from them about two years ago.
So now I shine on all those who want us to pay for leads. People really
interested in PV aren't having trouble finding us anyway.

Don't waste your time IMO.
We tried one a while back, and 95% of them were something like "we are
interested in solar energy for the house we are building in 2012 please send
all your catalogs". I don't recall ever getting a single sale from any of
them.
