It's just a pity that our solar system only has a single sun. This product
was really built for a 2-sun solar system. It is nice to have a module that
looks good from underneath. That is probably the biggest benefit. To claim
any improvement other than aesthetics is difficult. I have seen data that
suggests it works better, but unless you have an additional pyranometer
measuring back light, all claims are dubious. It could be that the product
is simply underrated, which is true of many Sanyo products-that is a very
real bonus.

We are looking to do our first installation using the Sanyo bi-facial module
and we were wondering if their was an installation guide for this puppy,
especially since the frame appears to be non standard and possibly
anticipates some irregular mounting schemes.

Are there any real world numbers on percentages of wattage increase due to
reflectance on the backside of Sanyo Bi-facial modules? Specifically - a
6/12 white metal roof @185dg. - horizon to horizon window. Have potential
application for 200kw+ array. Would like to have more than a "we think"
number in the proposal.
